The Cuyahoga Falls softball team dropped a pair of games to Suburban League National Conference rivals last week at Harrington Park.
The Lady Black Tigers suffered a 7-0 defeat to Wadsworth April 18 and a 10-0 loss to Brecksville-Broadview Heights April 17.
The Lady Black Tigers had five hits and five errors against the Lady Grizzlies and three hits and five errors against the Lady Bees.
"The team was not at its sharpest against both Brecksville and Wadsworth," Lady Black Tigers head coach Kim Applegarth said. "We struggled both offensive and defensively in both games."
Brianna Andexler reached base three times for Falls against Wadsworth. She had a single and two walks.
Kyia Saxon, Courtney Hasenstab, Janella Farmer and Tori Rogers each had singles for the Lady Black Tigers (0-9, 0-9). Farmer also had a stolen base.
The Lady Grizzlies scored twice in the first inning, once in the fourth and four times in the sixth.
Andexler, Hasenstab and Farmer each had singles for Falls.
The Lady Black Tigers were scheduled to play at the Battle of the Falls April 22 at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in Stow. Results were not available at press time.
Falls is set to visit National Conference rivals Hudson April 24 and Nordonia April 25. Both contests are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
