Week Four High School Football Schedule

Here is the schedule for Week Four of high school football action in the Record Publishing Co. weekly division coverage area:

Friday, Sept. 16

Aurora (2-1) at Kent Roosevelt (0-3) -- The Greenmen are rising as they reach Suburban League American Conference play. They face a Roosevelt team which has struggled in the first three weeks.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights (3-0) at Cuyahoga Falls (1-2) -- The Black Tigers will have their hands full trying to contain the Bees' spread offense.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (0-3) at Tuscarawas Valley (2-1) -- Last week's one-point loss was an encouraging sign from the young Royals. Can win No. 1 of the Dan Larlham Era finally be earned?

Hudson (2-1) at Nordonia (2-1) °-- Here's the game of the week. Both teams need a strong start in the Suburban League National Conference and this game will have playoff implications.

Wadsworth (1-2) at Stow-Munroe Falls (3-0) -- The Bulldogs needed a late touchdown to hold off Wadsworth last season. The Grizzlies will be looking for the upset.

Tallmadge (2-8) at New Philadelphia (2-1) -- Tallmadge already has equaled last year's win total, but the Quakers represent at major challenge.

Twinsburg (0-3) at North Royalton (1-2) -- Twinsburg finally gets to play a team that wasn't in the playoffs last year. The Tigers have shown some flashes early.

St Francis (NY) (0-1) at Walsh Jesuit (0-3) -- After three straight tough road trips, Walsh is hoping some home cooking will earn it win No. 1.

Western Reserve Academy (3-0) at Fostoria St. Wendelin (1-1) -- WRA is averaging more than 51 points a game this season. That number may go up against one of the smallest high schools in Ohio.

Ravenna (1-2) at Woodridge (3-0) -- The Bulldogs enter PTC Metro Division play with an average margin of victory of 41 points per game.
