The Woodridge boys golf team finished sixth with a score of 347 at the 17-team Rootstown Rover Invitational Aug. 9 at Kent State University Golf Course.
Norton won the competition with a score of 321 and Rootstown (323) and Field (326) placed second and third, respectively.
James A. Garfield's Derek Miller earned medalist honors with a score of 68.
Josh Milush led the Lady Bulldogs with a score of 78. Also contributing for Woodridge were Zane Patterson (82), Isaac Hosford (92) and Mark Bills (96).
Woodridge finished ninth with a score of 379 at the 16-team Springfield Spartan Bob McLaren Invitational Aug. 8 at Ohio Prestwick Country Club in Uniontown.
Field won the competition with a score of 335 and Coventry (347) and Norton (351) placed second and third, respectively.
Coventry's Jayden Thammachack shot a 75 to earn medalist honors.
Patterson led the Lady Bulldogs with a 91 and Milush and Bills each shot a 95. Also contributing for Woodridge were Hosford (98) and Nate Mayer (98).
The Bulldogs finished second with a score of 344 at the Lake Center Christian Invitational Aug. 5 at Sable Creek Golf Course in Hartville.
Bills led the Bulldogs with an 83. Also contributing to Woodridge's team score were Bilush (86), Hosford (87) and Mayer (88).
The Bulldogs were scheduled to compete at the Park Mazda Invitational Aug. 10 at Hawks Nest Golf Club in Creston and Portage Trail Conference Metro Division rival Springfield Aug. 11 at Chenoweth Golf Course in Akron. Results of those matches were not available at press time.
They are set to host Nordonia Aug. 12 at Brandywine Golf Course in Peninsula. Results of those matches were not available at press time.
Woodridge is scheduled to visit Metro Division foe Coventry Aug. 16 at Turkeyfoot Golf course in Akron. Play is set to begin at 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to host Metro Division rival Ravenna Aug. 17 at Brandywine. Play is set to begin at 3:45 p.m.
