Woodridge fall athletes honored at School Board meeting (with video)

Many of the Woodridge Local School District’s fall athletes were honored during the Board of Education meeting on Feb. 19. One of the athletes recognized was Hunter Niswander, the high school football team’s kicker who set a state record for most consecutive extra points made (111). On Feb. 6, Niswander signed a letter of intent to play football for Northwestern University. A first-team All-Ohio selection as a placekicker, Niswander plans to major in engineering at Northwestern. In this video from the Feb. 19 School Board meeting, Woodridge head football coach Eric Ervin discusses Niswander’s accomplishments and congratulates him on taking the next step to play Big Ten football.
