The host Cuyahoga Falls boys basketball team improved to 5-2 on the season after earning a 48-30 decision over Tallmadge Dec. 22.
The Black Tigers jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back.
Angelo Cugini led Falls with 16 points. He converted 6-of-7 foul shots. Jay Slone added nine points for the Black Tigers.
Andrew Francesconi led the Blue Devils (1-6) with seven points.
