Falls girls open season with two big victories

The Cuyahoga Falls girls basketball team's offense hit on all cylinders two games into the new season. That's because the Lady Black Tigers scored 65 points in each of their first two contests, both of which were wins. Falls opened the new campaign Nov. 26, at home against Akron North.

Woodridge senior Clare Willett signed a national letter of intent Nov. 17 to continue her academic and running careers at Malone University in Canton. Willett carries a 3.4 grade-point average at Woodridge, plans to major in zoology at Malone and run by cross country and track for the Pioneers.
