City Council approves Hunter Parkway project after executive session, split votes

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- In a split vote, City Council approved Danny Karam's plans to build six attached homes for sale or lease on Hunter Parkway on Monday, March 27. But not until nine of the 11 members of Council met in executive session.

City Council approves opening up Front Street

Cuyahoga Falls City Council on Monday, March 27, approved hiring contractors to open up Front Street to vehicular traffic, something it has not seen in 40 years. The vote was 10-1 with one Councilmember, Vic Pallotta (R-3) abstaining. Pallotta did not give a reason for his abstention.

Summit County, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge and Mogadore receive $500,000 dispatch grant

The Ohio Development Service Agency has awarded Summit County, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge and Mogadore a $500,000 grant for costs related to the purchase of a computer aided dispatch system, according to a press release issued by Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro's office today.
