Former astronaut, US Sen. John Glenn of Ohio has died at 95

WASHINGTON (AP) -- John Glenn, whose 1962 flight as the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth made him an all-American hero and propelled him to a long career in the U.S. Senate, died Thursday. The last survivor of the original Mercury 7 astronauts was 95.

Cuyahoga Falls City Council eyes dispatch center cost, stun guns for medics in budget

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- When City Council votes on the 2017 budget on Dec. 12, it will include a $1 million "place-holder" to join a proposed Council of Governments for a regional dispatch center as well as the funds needed to equip paramedics with stun guns and bullet-proof jackets.

Cuyahoga Falls man jailed in felony theft from sister with disabilities

A Cuyahoga Falls man is in jail for allegedly stealing more than $58,000 from a disabled relative. Larry Hudkins, 65, of Norwood Street, was arrested Thursday, Dec. 1, and charged with second-degree felony theft, according to a press release from the Summit County Sheriff's Office.
