Letter: Says voters have 'right to know' possible cuts if Cuyahoga Falls City Schools' levy fails

Published: October 16, 2016 12:00 AM

On Nov. 8, the residents of the

Cuyahoga Falls City School District will vote on Issue 40.

This is a renewal for an operating levy. If this issue fails, there will be unwanted changes in our school system. At the Oct. 5 Board of Education meeting, district Superintendent Dr. Todd Nichols was asked for a list of possible cuts in our district if the operating levy does not pass. He declined to provide this information. Why? Voters have a right to know what the potential consequences will be if Issue 40 fails. The community should be given access to these important facts.
