Letter: Suggests high school students could help keep sidewalks clean in Cuyahoga Falls

Falls it seems some of my neighbors keep their sidewalks clear, per city ordinance. On others it looks like a cowpath with grass growing over the concrete and hedges sticking out into and over the sidewalk. Moo.

What can our ward representatives do about this? I know if you let your grass grow too long the city will send out a crew to cut your yard and charge you. Maybe a good time to hire high school students for after-school work? Possibly the fines would cover their pay. We are not talking power equipment here. Shovels, brooms and city yard bags to have the stuff picked up later by the sanitation trucks.

Let's not have the city looking like Detroit.
