Letter: Urges residents to 'speak out' on need for new Cuyahoga Falls High School

Published:

In my opinion,

the letter in the Jan. 27 Letters to the Editor section is good advice ("Says a new high school should be built," Page 9).

Silver Lake and Cuyahoga Falls residents should speak out on the need for a new high school to be built. You only have to visit a new school for say a basketball game to realize how much our children and grandchildren are missing out on. Ask your children just about how bad the bathrooms are alone that they deal with every day. The letter writer is correct concerning if we were to build a new high school, the latest technology for teaching would be incorporated into the design. A great security system would give parents peace of mind when sending their children off to school each day. Write letters, speak out. It is the only way it will happen.

Mary Lou Van Sise,

Silver Lake
