It was with great plea
sure that I read the Cuyahoga Falls News-
Press article on rebuilding the new VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 ("VFW plans benefit to offset reconstruction costs after fire," Cuyahoga Falls News-Press, Dec. 30, 2012, Page 4). Good things do happen in our community. Navy Seals are very special people like John Ostlund, who undertook this project where others would not. John has been involved in our community since our boys were playing baseball in the Cuyahoga Falls Little League 15 years ago. There John gave back to our community. I applaud his efforts as well as that of architect John Toomey in helping this most important community project become a reality. We should all remember the Veterans of Foreign Wars kept each of us Americans free by their service to our country. I salute Ostlund for his service to our country and his continued service to this great community of ours. Also, thanks to the construction suppliers for providing their products at a substantially reduced cost. Please support this worthwhile project by contacting the VFW at 330-929-9494.

As former Senior VP of Ladies Aux. of VFW Post 1062 I am very happy to see progress in rebuilding our post. Dave and I are happy to feel the HEAT tonight during our stop at the post. Everything seams to be coming together.
Our many vets have been waiting for this. Some of our WWII vet miss their home away from home.
