Retired from Juvenile Court System
Helen Thirjung (Juhas), 90, died Jan. 28, 2013.
She was born on June 25, 1922 to Theresia and Mike Voglein.
She was retired from the Juvenile Court System and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. She was an accomplished artist, a euchre player and enjoyed spending time with "her cronies" at Stow Glen Retirement Community.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Bill Juhas and Joe Thirjung; brothers, Nick and Frank Voglein; son-in-law, Bob Gojkov; and stepdaughter, Janice Merideth. She is survived by her children, Dee (Paul) Vittorella of Cuyahoga Falls, Judy (Ed) Jesson of Stow and Bill (Diane) Juhas of Loudon, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Mildren Cochrun of Cuyahoga Falls; and her step-family: daughters Helen Lang, Julie (Mike) Gungle, Jeri Meadows and Josie (Vic) Walker; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at the Redmon Funeral Home. Dr. David Baker conducted a service at the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, with interment at Copley Cemetery.
