Wilma Platt (Meloy), 82, died Jan. 10, 2013.

She was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1948, living all over the world and returning to Cuyahoga Falls. Mrs. Platt was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and a 59-year member of the Canasta Club.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles; brothers, Howard, William and Richard Meloy and sisters, Arlys Bales and Audrey Knoll; she is survived by sons, Alan of Florida, Robin, and Eric, both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Greg, Corey, Marion, Andy, Michael and Katie; five great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Senn and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service took place at Oakwood Cemetery, the Rev. Deborah Rankin officiating. Memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 Second St., Cuyahoga Falls 44221.

Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
