Paul M. Adzema
World War II veteran
Paul M. Adzema, 88, died Dec. 20, 2012. Born in Akron, and residing in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life, Mr. Adzema retired from Brown-Graves Lumber Co., where he worked as a sales manager. Mr. Adzema was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He enjoyed bowling, was an avid golfer, and he was a 16-year member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
Mr. Adzema is survived by his wife Elanore (Carson), of 45 years; daughter, Debbie Fultz, of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Nick Fultz, of Wadsworth, and Lacy Fultz, of Jackson Township; great-granddaughter, Keeleigh; longtime best friend, Walt Tomko, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna (Marton) Adzema; brother, John Adzema, and sister, Helen Prexta.
A funeral service took place at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home. Fr. Thomas McCann officiated and burial took place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors were provided by the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
