Gary Rocco Ciccarone

Gary Rocco Ciccarone, 65, a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, died Jan. 6, 2013 after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Ciccarone was born Oct. 20, 1947 in Akron. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966. Mr. Ciccarone served in the United States Navy and retired from Morgan Adhesive. He enjoyed sports especially football, watching westerns and talking to everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren when he could. During his time at Cardinal Village, he enjoyed participating in the city's holiday parades.
Mr. Ciccarone was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Ciccarone; parents, Andrew and Marie Ciccarone; and his sister, Andrea Adam. He is survived by his daughter, Kara Ciccarone; grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah and Connor; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Marilyn Ciccarone of Illinois, brother-in-law, Vincent Adam; Aunt Madeline and uncle Libert Bozzelli of Cuyahoga Falls; aunt Ann Falasco of Akron; aunt Julia Paonessa of Akron; nephews, Andrew (Nicole) Adam of Cuyahoga Falls and Thomas Adam of Virginia, numerous cousins, and friends at Cardinal Village. A special thanks to his cousin Marlene Czetli for taking care of him while he was at Cardinal Village.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was followed by interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
