I want to express my gratitude to the Cuyahoga Falls Police, who took it as seriously as we did when my 9 year old and her friend disappeared during a "quick walk." It was such a comfort to have such an instant response, with one officer there in minutes, taking descriptions and another car already cruising the neighborhood. I encourage other residents not to hesitate to call 9-1-1 in a similar situation -- the officers' attitude shows that the Falls Police would clearly rather err on the side of safety when it comes to a child.

I also want to thank the kind "grandma" (whose name I failed to get) on Francis Avenue who was there for the girls when they needed help. They were so upset, but this memory will always be lightened by your comforting presence and quick response. Thank you so much for providing a safe place to land for two frightened, lost little girls.

We really feel so lucky to live in a community like this one.
