Silver Lake Council Gets Pay For Not Meeting

Our council has recently canceled several meetings. That's OK if they don't accept pay for not doing their job. But that's not the case.
In these tough times (that will get tougher), I would respectfully ask our representatives to decline being paid when they don't meet. It would save the village over $1000 whenever they decide they need time off or cannot get a quorum.
I hope they will agree this is appropriate.
