Grandview United Methodist Church, 2315 Phelps Avenue, is planning our first annual "GRANDVIEW COMMUNITY FUN FEST 5K and THEN SOME on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 8:00am - 7:00pm. The event starts with the 5K run and kids costumed fun run. Other children's activities scheduled throughout the day are Big Wheel/tricycle race, balloon toss, potato sack race, puppet show, cake walk, face painting, watermelon eating contest and much, much more. Rita's Italian Ice will be there with cool refreshemnts. A local Jazz band will provide musical entertainment. Lunch and dinner will be served at no charge, but free will donations will be accepted to help defray costs. EVERYONE is invited to join us for a full day of fun and excitment. All of us at Grandview Church look forward to seeing you there at our Community Fun Fest.
