I was surprised on a recent stop at a Gas station on State Road to find that they now appear to be openly selling Drug Paraphernalia on and behind the counters. I asked the clerk for a phone number to complain to their corporate office and he/she told me that they are under new management and are no longer part of that chain of stations.

If you feel like I do that this is something you don't want in your neighborhoods than I can only suggest that you find another place to buy your gas. Money is the only thing these people know, and lack of your business is the only way to send a clear message that you don't want it in your neighborhood.

Stores openly selling drug paraphernalia is something that you used to find in Akron, not in Cuyahoga Falls. The police can't do anything about it because they can just say it's for regular tobacco.

So Mayor, while you are busy tearing down the State Road Shopping Center to clean up that area and make it nicer, maybe you should check out the new lowlife businesses that are creeping into town and do something about them.

Um...I understand that one can also imbibe in certain drugs without any 'roll-your-own papers' by using a pipe or baking brownies or...

Now, a more appropriate question might be...are store proprietors prohibited from selling such papers for smoking, I assume that's what you're complaining about, to minors? The age of majority being what it is, and all, what about the beer? Are the low-lifes daring to sell beer to townfolk at their establishment???
