I wanted to thank you for doing a fine job running our city. It's exciting to see the progress that's taking place at Portage Crossings and the distinction of winning "One of the top 100 Places to Live" award in 2009.

Robart is desperate to divert attention from his careless handling of finances in the city:
The State Road Shopping Center rip-off
The monstrous waste of space Natatorium
The ice skating rink
Chestnut Crossing
And how about that $2 million electric bill mistake?
So, let's blame the Union workers.
Way to go Summit County Dems for not having a candidate for mayor on the ballot this year.

Yeah, and he never would have got elected without the backing of yet another former(great?) mayor, Mayor Quirk.
I wonder what sort of sage 'political' advice himselfness gave to the likes of John Widowfield or Kevin Coughlin, eh? I mean, being the elder political administrative-policy-wonk that he is and not wanting to oppose Mr. Alex?
Now I know what the likes of "twitter" was named after...sigh.

I still love "The Don". He's the best mayor and the sweetest buttercup I have ever known in my 55 years of living here.

Um...'wyn', buttercup? The 'Crossings' ain't even been turned into a 'field of dreams' yet despite the City's neglect in controlling/monitoring the businesses/property owners involved in the development of the brownfield site there; despite the City's abuse of the eminent domain process AND their deciding to pay more than $500,000 per acre for the land so long neglected, eh? I wonder how much money is going into either the Steels Corner Rd or Seasons Rd developments?
Wanna know how long it took em' to bust my chops for some grass that was barely 8" tall or the Queen Anne's Lace flowering in my front yard? Despite the proven carbon-fixing/gasoline-saving history of both?
In addition, the bogus award you mentioned is a member-only fantasy much like the NorthCoast 99 award, eh?

Also, wanted to thank the mayor for declaring Global Climate Change a myth, and for encouraging the lunatics at the Glenn Beck, Tea Party. Too bad no one had the stones to run against you, Robart.
