Just read the police blotter about a kid that was arrested and charged by the Falls police for playing basketball around midnight on June 26th.

I don't know the kid, I don't know all the details, and yes it was stupid of him to park his car on the court with his headlights on. But is this really necessary???? Couldn't a warning have been issued? Instead of being out on the streets getting into trouble he decided to play basketball.

What has his world turned into? Charging a minor for playing basketball.... looks as though the Falls police department was trying to meet the monthly arrest quota before July 1st.

We can all sleep easier at night knowing this major criminal is now off the streets.

One of the best cities in America to live in?? Ask this kid's family and I'm sure you'll get a different answer.

If I'm missing some important information on this "case"- fill me in.

Um...the fact you asked the Falls-News press to withold your identity speaks volumes about your sincerity, eh, buttercup? So, who gives a rat's arse about "filling in" the likes of you? Well...this is your lucky day! I'm just off work, enjoying a Guiness and without the convenience of either cable or satellite tv!

Aren't the hours of operation posted at most City facilities posted at same? What about posted parking regulations? What about the fact that if "it" was, indeed, a "minor" that "it" just might have been out past curfew?

Nuff said.
