As the Cuyahoga Falls High School Class of 1967 was preparing for its 40th reunion, it received a tip-of-the-hat from Cuyahoga Falls' Mayor, Don L. Robart. On May 24, 2007 Mayor Robart issued a proclamation welcoming the return of members of Class of 1967 and designating October 6, 2007 as Class of 1967 Day.

"We greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of Mayor Robart" said Bob Minno, a member of the Class of 1967 and current resident of the Portage Lakes area. "These little extra touches help us to remember Cuyahoga Falls as the wonderful place we knew when we getting a great education in a great community" he added. "I hope the Mayor's Proclamation encourages our classmates to join us on October 5th and 6th for our 40th Reunion", said Gary Thomas, also a member of the Class of 1967 and current resident of Noblesville, Indiana.

The Class of '67 reunion will take place on October 5th and 6th. Information about the reunion is available via the Internet at http://www.falls67.com.
