Eight cultural groups performed songs and dances on the Akron Civic stage on March 6. Before the dance program, the estimated 2,000 guests could try an Irish step dance, sample cuisine from different nations and play drums with the Cleveland-based taiko group Icho Daiko. Information and items to purchas were available at the various booths sponsored by Akron International Friendship and other cultural groups.
