Ann Peterson and James Kane Sr. were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Suffield on Feb. 3, 1940.
They have lived in Cuyahoga Falls for more than 60 years. They have five children, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren which include: Jim and Carol Kane; Laura (Kane) Stamler, Alexa, Nicholas and Alaina; Jim and Tracy Kane, James and Christopher; Christine (Kane) and Craig McMillan, Abigail, Annabelle and Aidan. Tom Kane; Tom E. and Lisa Kane, Sofia and Blake; Jennifer (Kane) and Tom Reese, Kane and Noah; Susan Kane; Don and Kathy Kane; Tom R. and Denise Kane, Ronnie and Donnie; Aaron Kane; Bob Kane; Robert and Adam Kane; Joyce (Kane) and Jim Churchwell; Kelly (Churchwell) and Mark McCue, Madison and Kassidy; Brian and Niki Churchwell, Grace and Jackson; and Karrie (Churchwell) and Christopher Musbach.
They celebrated their 70th anniversary with their family.
