Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors serves the communities of Cuyahoga Falls, Munroe Falls, Stow, Hudson and Peninsula by providing food, clothing and household items for those families in need. After more than 39 years, the new owners of the Stow-Falls Church requested that we find a new location. The First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls took the lead to find us a new location.
On behalf of Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors, and as chairperson of the group, I thank the Rev. Gail Lindsey and her entire congregation of the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls for all the assistance they have given us in finding a new temporary home, helping us relocate, and providing a generous donation for the many costs involved with relocating.
I thank Dr. Edwin Holland and the Cuyahoga Falls School Board for allowing us to rent a portion of Sill Middle School. I also thank the school staff for handling the many details involved with opening a closed building.
I thank Summit County Executive Russ Pry, Craig Stanley, Jan Holland, and all the volunteers for their assistance in the move to the new location.
I thank the many firefighters who volunteered their time to move the many boxes and equipment by loading and unloading moving trucks.
I thank the Cuyahoga Falls News-Press and Record Publishing Co. newspapers for all the publicity they've given us.
