The city of Cuyahoga Falls invites all interested volunteers to register for the 2008 River Day and Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup (GAC) project. In honor of the beauty and awesome water resource of the Cuyahoga River, volunteers will be cleaning up litter and beautifying various sites within the community.
The city's 2008 River Day GAC stewardship project is planned for May 17 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information, e-mail MCCLEARYRM@CITYOFCF.COM or call 330-971-8201. Cleanup supplies and lunch will be provided to project volunteers.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
