June will come early in Cuyahoga Falls when the high school presents "Carousel."
Cuyahoga Falls High School students in grades 9 through 12 will perform the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical on April 11, 12 and 13 at the Cuyahoga Falls High School auditorium, 2300 Fourth St.
The list of songs includes "June is Bustin' Out All Over" and "If I Loved You."
The directors of the production are Mike Skifstad and Margaret Knepper,
Performances are at 7 p.m. April 11 and 12, and at 2:30 p.m. on April 13. Michelle Workinger, a Falls High alumnus, is the choreographer. Dustin Harris will lead the pit orchestra.
The general public is invited. Tickets for each performance are $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. Refreshments will be sold at intermission.
On April 12, the Cuyahoga Falls High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association will provide a pasta dinner in conjunction with the musical to raise money for scholarships. Dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
