I wish to commend city firefighters.
These individuals have an inherently difficult and dangerous job to begin with, since facing flames, fumes and toxins takes a toll on the human body, but they must respond very rapidly to save human life and protect property. Their response to any call is dangerous especially during times of exceptionally inclement weather. Consider the danger of heavy trucks on roads slick with snow and ice, as well as with rain.
Please take a moment to reflect upon their bravery and service and say a prayer for both them and their families.
