An Akron woman, 36, was arrested after police

An Akron woman, 36, was arrested after police said she rammed her car into the vehicle of another Akron woman, 24, while it was parked in the 1000 block of Seibel Drive.

The two women were initially taken into custody by police at 2:10 a.m. March 23 when the officer observed the two involved in a physical fight in the 1000 block of Seibel Drive. Although told to stop fighting, the pair continued to scrap until the officer sprayed them with pepper spray. The police report stated the two were fighting over a man both were dating.

The two were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, then released, each with a court summons. However, police were called back to the same scene at 3:09 a.m. when a resident said there was a dark-colored vehicle ramming another. Upon arrival, police found that the 36-year-old woman had done an estimated $500 damage to the 24-year-old's 1998 Hyundai, and in the process, had pushed it into a nearby apartment building, causing minor damage to a door frame on the building.

The 36-year-old was placed under arrest and charged with criminal damaging.

Accidents

March 21 -- Red light violation. A 25-year-old Stow man was cited for a red light violation after a crash at 2:37 p.m. at Oakwood Drive and Monroe Avenue. According to the report, a 64-year-old Akron man had just started from the traffic light on Monroe at Oakwood, traveling west on Monroe. The Stow man, southbound on Oakwood, reportedly ran the stop light and hit the Akron man, who was transported to Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital with possible injuries.

March 20 -- Hit-skip. A Falls girl, 16, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after police reported she hit a car parked in a driveway on Ninth Street south of Cuyahoga Falls Avenue. According to the report, the girl was driving north on Ninth when she lost control of the SUV she was driving. She drove off, but was later found by police. She was not injured.

Theft

March 23 -- Car theft? A woman reported at 12:10 p.m. that her silver 2005 Dodge Neon was stolen from her apartment's parking lot between 6 p.m. March 21 and noon March 23. The woman later found out her car was repossessed, the report stated.

March 18 -- Gun missing. A Hanover Street man reported at 10:40 p.m. someone he knows entered his locked bedroom between 10 a.m. and noon and stole a semi-automatic handgun, two magazines and ammunition. The loss was estimated at $800. The case remains open and under investigation.

March 18 -- Movie thief caught. A 36-year-old Northfield man was arrested and charged with theft at 11:30 a.m. at a Howe Road store after he reportedly walked out with 14 DVDs valued at $290.30. The man was detained by store security until the police arrived.

Disorderly conduct

March 23 -- Three cited. Three residents, one female, 19, and two males, 22 and 20, of the 600 block of Loomis Avenue were cited at 1:39 a.m. for disorderly conduct for reportedly allowing a loud party at their residence. There was reportedly loud music and loud voices.

March 21 -- Shop till you drop. Police were called to a Howe Avenue store when it was reported a man was intoxicated and causing a disturbance at the customer service counter. When police arrived, the man, a 23-year-old Falls resident, was passed out on the floor. Refusing medical treatment, the man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was taken to a friend's house.

Drug possession

March 21 -- Juvenile arrest. A Falls<FEFF> 15-year-old was arreste and charged with possession of marijuana at 7:16 p.m. during a traffic stop at Hanover Street and Davis Avenue of a vehicle in which he was a passnger . The teen was brought to the police station where his father came and got him.

Theft

March 20 --Shoplifter. An employee of a store in the 1700 block of State Road reported a woman came into the store two times between 12:42 and 12:47 p.m. and stole 11 boxes of night-time cold tablets, six boxes of denture adhesive, three boxes of pain-relief medicine and two bottles of body wash. The case is under investigation.

Mar -- Game system stolen. The theft of a Sony PlayStation2 and a leather purse was reported at 10:20 p.m. in The Natatorium. The items, valued at $620, were taken from a locked storage room. There are no suspects; however, the case is under investigation.

Domestic violence

March 20 -- Arrest made. A 38-year-old Falls man was arrested at 1:55 a.m. and charged with domestic violence after his live-in girlfriend reported he slapped her face several times, pulled her hair and choked her at their residence. The report states the woman was upset with the man when he returned home after spending time with his friends. He denied the allegations, the report stated. There was no need for medical treatment or transport, according to the report.

Assault

March 19 -- No arrest. An employee of a group home in the 3300 block of Kellybrook Drive reported at 8:58 p.m. that a resident was assaulted by a staff member. The victim had a cut to his lower lip, the report said, and was treated by Falls EMS and transported to Akron General Medical Center. The case is under investigation.
