I'm not sure why, but it seems as though the Falls Street Dept. is looking the other way when it comes to stripping/repaving the off ramps heading both North and South when you get off Route 8 at Broad Blvd. I'm sure they will jump all over fixing this when somebody finally flips their car or gets killed.
I'm sure some third-world nations have better roadways then these off ramps.
When getting off at Broad heading South on Rte. 8, its the equivelent of driving on a mine field.
When getting off at Broad heading North on Rte. 8, there are a few long pot holes that your entire tire can fit in (length wise). This is bad news if you have low-profile tires.
We found this out the hard way when we hit one of these pot holes, which caused us to lose control of our car and nearly wreck. The tire was blown and our rim was damaged. Obviously the Falls ignored all of my attempts to both have the pot hole fixed so nobody else will get hurt or face property damage and they also refused to repair the damage- instead trying to shift the blame to ODOT.
ODOT in turn came back to us and informed us the Falls are in charge of paving and keeping the off ramps at Route 8 pot hole free and in "good driving condition".
Hopefully our lawmakers will get busy and instead of throwing all of our hard-earned tax money at a "zen garden" they will put a little money aside and repave these ramps.
