Great Job Cuyahoga Falls Snowplow Crew!

March 9, 2008

I want to thank the Cuyahoga Falls Road Crew for doing such a fantastic job plowing our streets during the blizzard that hit us over the weekend. Determined to find a bridal gown that day, I was one of the few "crazies" out on the road all day Saturday. My snowstorm adventures took me to Belden Village, and out to the shops on Rt-18 in Montrose. I can honestly say that of all the roads I'd traveled on Saturday, no city had better plowed/maintained roads than Cuyahoga Falls. Broad Boulevard and State Rd were better plowed than Rt-18 in Montrose; even our side streets like Valley and Phelps seemed less hazardous than many of the roads in the Belden Village area. Rt 8 in Cuyahoga Falls was the only stretch of highway that was cleared/salted enough to actually see the blacktop underneath the snow. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your hard efforts in keeping our roads clean and safe. Thanks again, and Great Job!!
