JAMES R. DENNIS (ROY)
Retired from Carl's Heating and Cooling
James R. Dennis (Roy), 73, passed away Aug. 29, 2010.
A lifetime resident of the area, Roy had retired from Carl's Heating and Cooling. He was a member of the Sons of Herman, Jednota Club and an avid golfer and bowler.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, daughters; Erin Soltis, Fairlawn; Jennifer (Jon) Iannaccone, N.J.; son, Eric (Susan) Dennis, Nev.; sisters; Betty (Bill) Murray, Akron; Billie McGovern, Akron; stepdaughters; Deborah (Forrest) Danson, Ill.; Laura Dorr, Cuyahoga Falls; stepson, Lawrence Parsons, Akron; and seven grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
Funeral service was at the Dunn Quigley Funeral Home, in Stow, with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. Entombment was at Rose Hill Burial Park.
