Amanda Cisar and Jacob Studer announce their engagement and are planning a wedding for next spring. Jake proposed to Amanda while they were admiring the Christmas lights at the Toledo Zoo on Dec. 18, 2009.
The couple met while they were both students at the University of Toledo. Jake is employed by the University of Toledo as an accountant. Amanda is employed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the Toledo area. Amanda is the daughter of Lisa and Mike Hiland of Cuyahoga Falls and Tom and Vicki Cisar of North Lawrence. Jake is the son of Tim and Janey Studer of Ashland. An April 2011 wedding is planned in Ashland.
