Falls High choral association meets Sept. 14
The Cuyahoga Falls High School Choral Music Association announces its first meeting of the 2010-11 school year for Sept. 14. Parents of all CFHS vocal music students are invited to the CFHS Chorus room at 7 p.m. The chorus room is accessed through the south side High School entrance on Tiger Lane. The Choral Music Association is a non-profit organization that supports the vocal music programs and provides scholarships for CFHS Vocal Music Students.
Memorial fund established in Walsh student's honor
Scott Steven Monzel, a Walsh Jesuit graduate in the Class of 2004, died suddenly on July 7, 2010. An accomplished baseball player, Monzel was a member of the Walsh Jesuit High School 2004 State Champion team and played college baseball at Mercyhurst College and Western Kentucky University. The family has established a memorial fund in his honor. All donations may be made in Monzel's name to: Walsh Jesuit High School, Attn: Baseball Program - Scott Monzel Memorial Fund, 4550 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44224.
