I was the Falls Cancer Club representative at the annual Oktoberfest Golf Charities golf outing fundraiser Aug. 14. I write this with much appreciation to Dr. Edward Denholm and his crew of volunteers. The outing at Brookledge Golf Club went off without a hitch. Not even the late afternoon weather stopped the golfers. The course's staff must be thanked as they helped wherever needed (Even picking me up from a hole when the rains came). This annual outing allows The Falls Cancer Club to continue to assist cancer patients in Cuyahoga Falls. Of course, without all the golfers, this event would not be so successful.
