RUTH A. QUILLIN
Member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish
Ruth A. Quillin, 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Aug. 5, 2010.
Born in Akron, she was a longtime Cuyahoga Falls resident. She was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, where she served as President of the Rosary Altar Society and Mother of Sorrows Committee. Her lifelong focus was on being a fabulous mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Jack Adams. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dan; sons, John (Marilyn) of Cuyahoga Falls and Ed of Texas; daughter, Pat Gonzalez of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Mary Patrick and Bea Tarmichael; grandchildren, Nick and Felipe Gonzalez, Carrie (Jeff) Sipple, Stacy, Kendall and Kori Quillin.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church followed by interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1815 West Market St., Akron 44313.
Ciriello and Carr Falls Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
