Virginia Lee Bisesi, 79, died Aug. 16, 2010, at the Danbury of Cuyahoga Falls.
She was born in Montcoal, W.Va., and was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel (Rumburg) Matthews; first husband, Robert McCarty; daughter, Linda Kopina; and brother, Carl Matthews. She is survived by husband, Tony; stepson, Mike Bisesi; step-daughters, Lynn Studards, Mary Bisesi and Lisa (Ken) Kolberg; sisters, Chris Banner, Iona Taylor, Billie (Herman) Sees, Louise Sims and Shelby Bender; sister-in-law, Delfina Matthews; grandchildren, Becky, Tony, Tara and Joshua Kopina; stepgrandchildren, Patrick, Kara and John Studards, Marcella and Margaret Bisesi and Alyssa, Thomas and Amy Kolberg; and friends, Ellie and Larry Yurkosky.
A funeral service took place at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid and Santos Chapel, the Rev. Mark Steiner officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 1006 Grant St., Akron 44311.
McGowan-Reid and Santos Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
