JOHN C. EAGLESON Veteran of World War II John C. Eagleson, 85, died Aug. 13, 2010. Mr. Eagleson was born in Youngstown, and had resided in the Tallmadge and Cuyahoga Falls area most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, worked for Esterle Mold and Machine Co. and was a member of American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Grant); sons, Terry and Kenny; parents John and Martha Eagleson; and brother, William "Bill" Eagleson. He is survived by his only son, Roger, and daughter-in-law Rochelle Barbieri, both of Cuyahoga Falls He is survived by his grandchildren, Ken Jr., Don, Roger II, Ashley, Keith and Christine. He is also survived by his brother James (Ethel) Eagleson of Atwater; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn "Gwen;" his niece, Janet, and nephews, Raymond (Debbie) and Michael (Tracy); and a host of other family members. Military honors were conducted by the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg 44087. Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge arrangements. Comments
