From Staff Reports The start of a new school year is also the time that school districts find out how they performed on the state report card in the previous academic term. According to preliminary results released by the Ohio Department of Education, both the Cuyahoga Falls and Woodridge school districts have earned an "Excellent" rating for the 2009-10 school year on the state report card. The preliminary results show that the Cuyahoga Falls district met 24 of the 26 performance indicators and that the Woodridge district met 25 of the 26 indicators. The ODE stressed on its website that the 2009-10 data was preliminary and the official report card data wouldn't be released until Aug. 27 at 10 a.m., which was after the Falls News-Press went to press. See Page 10 for stories about each district's preliminary report card results. Comments
