by Bill Lohan, Parks and Recreation Superintendent

The Parks and Recreation program and activity guide for fall and winter activities has just been released. Last week, our ever-popular guide was mailed directly to many of you, our loyal customers. If you are a current customer of Parks and Recreation, you should have received it. A current customer means you either have an annual Natatorium pass, a seasonal Water Works pass, or you or a member of your family has participated in a paid activity at either the Natatorium or Quirk Cultural Center. You may also pick up a guide at any Parks and Recreation location -- The Natatorium, Brookledge Golf Club, Downview Sports Center, Quirk Cultural Center or the Parks and Recreation Office. This year, our guides will also be available at the Bailey Road Acme, Krieger's Health Food Market, the Falls License Bureau (BMV) and the Cuyahoga Falls Library.

The fall/winter edition contains six full months of programs and events -- from September through the end of February. As always, the activity guide includes our usual array of fun, enriching classes and programs designed for you and your family's leisure and recreation. Check out some of the new events coming up this fall and mark your calendar -- Grandparents Day Ice Cream Social, Monster Mash Halloween Bash and Taste of Cuyahoga Falls, to name just a few.

Now that school is back in session, sit back, relax and plan something fun for you and your family this fall with Parks and Recreation.
