City's sewer project temporarily shortens Gorge Metro Park Trail

Share_print Print Story    |    Comments    |

A sewer project that got under way recently will temporarily prevent hikers from enjoying the complete Gorge Metro Park Trail (1160 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls), which is on the Fall Hiking Spree that starts Sept. 1. Contractors for the city of Cuyahoga Falls are replacing sewer lines along the Cuyahoga River. The Gorge Trail will be closed after Mary Campbell Cave because of the work, shortening the 1.8-mile trail to about 3/4 mile, possibly through mid-September.
