STANLEY G. NICHOLS World War II veteran Stanley G. Nichols, 90, died July 24, 2010. Mr. Nichols was born in Scotch Hill, Pa., and has been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for more than 60 years. He served in the 3rd Army Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Division during World War II. He worked as a tool and die setter for the Ford Motor Co. and was a member of the Church In The Falls. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marian; brothers, Earl, Leroy, Kenneth, Ralph and sister Sara Jane, he is survived by his children Richard Nichols and Carolyn Holder, both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Aaron Haas, Nathan Haas and Chris Holder and sister, Doris Gordon. A funeral service was conducted in the Church In The Falls, Mark Brazle officiating. Interment was in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to his church. Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Comments
