DANIEL L. SNYDER

Served in Vietnam War

Daniel L. Snyder, 62, died Aug. 3, 2010.

Mr. Snyder was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls his entire life. He had worked as a lineman for First Energy for 28 years and had served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281, the 40 and 8 and the 281 Legion Bikers. Other memberships include the VFW Bob Appleman Post 3294 and the Cuyahoga Falls Moose.

Preceded in death by his father, Harry E., he is survived by his mother, Norma Snyder; brother, Richard Snyder; his best friend, Roberta Schnabel, and her family, Sandie, Jim, Tim and Angela Schnabel and their children and grandchildren and his twin daughters, Sherry and Terry.

A funeral service was conducted in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Beal officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery. Military honors were conducted by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Falls Cancer Club, P. O. Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
