SARA F. DENTON
50-year Falls resident
Sara F. Denton, 87, died July 22, 2010.
Mrs. Denton was born in Ettowah, Tenn., and has resided in Cuyahoga Falls for more than 50 years moving there from Covington, Ky. She was the owner/operator of Sara's Fashion Chateau and Sara's House of Fashion, a member of the Lady Elks 1923 and Broadman Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her brother George Wehunt and sisters Drucie Emmerich and Eupa Showalter, she is survived by her daughter Elaine (Dain) Ricker of Cuyahoga Falls; son, D. G. (Leighsa) Denton of Phoenix; granddaughter, Kristen Buck of Cuyahoga Falls; great-grandchildren Sara and Taylor Buck; sister, Gaynie Kramer of Texas; brother Alfie Wehunt of Florida.
A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 North Main St., P.O. Box 2090, Akron 44398-6153.
Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
