Old tunes, like old friends, take you back to the good old days. On Aug. 26 at 7, plan to take a trip down memory lane to the days of the Big Bands and beautiful, never to be forgotten melodies. Rock Star Band Enjoy a lively afternoon of contemporary rock music performed by talented local kids on Aug. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. Forever Harmony On Aug. 23 at 7 p.m., enjoy an evening of sweet songs sung in four-part harmony with the lovely ladies of Forever Harmony. Power Point for beginners On Aug. 24 at 6:30 p.m., learn to create a basic Power Point presentation including adding pictures, formatting background, slide transitions and more. Registration is required. Taking containers from Summer Blah to Autumn Bliss Cleo Lehman of the Leaf and Blossom Garden Club will demonstrate how you can add life to your tired summer containers. On Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. get helpful tips on extending the beauty of your outdoor living space without spending a lot of time or money. New for you at Falls Library New books hot off the press this week include "The Postcard Killers" by James Patterson, "Tempted by Trouble" by Eric Jerome Dickey, "The Last Lie" by Stephen White, "Tough Customer" by Sandra Brown and "Veil of Night" by Linda Howard. Newly released DVDs on the shelf this week: "Death at a Funeral," "The Last Song," and "Lost: The final season." Did you know? The Friends of Cuyahoga Falls Library help initiate and support many services that cannot be included in the library's tax supported budget. The generous support of the Friends makes possible free programs, newsletters, holiday decorations, printing supplies and the purchase of various pieces of needed equipment.
