Questions prices on grocery items

Share_print Print Story    |    Comments    |

I understand the elderly on Social Security were not given a COLA (Cost-of-Living Adjustment) increase because the government stated that cost didn't rise. Well, I bought six items at the grocery store that I buy all the time. I brought them home and, surprise, the contents on all were reduced by 1 to 4 ounces. But the price was the same. I would say the price was raised by 10 to 30 percent, according to product received. Remember that half gallon of ice cream? Now it's 13 ounces. The price is still the same or more. We are being played as fools. Where are all the czars when you need them?
