Jayne H. Davis of Cuyahoga Falls, 67, died July 18, 2010.
Ms. Davis was born in Akron and graduated from Copley High School in 1960. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Akron, her master's degree from Ohio State University and was a member of the Nurse Practitioners Forum at the University of Akron. She worked as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Hillcrest Hospital.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and John M Davis; she is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Walli of Columbus; brother, John Houston (Sandy) Davis of Akron; niece, Beth Walli; nephews, Andrew Davis and Eric (Jessica) Walli; and four great-grandnephews, Gaige, Nic, Alecco and Elias
A funeral service was conducted in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 190 South Maple St., Akron 44302 or Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg 44087.
