RICHARD LEO COSTILOW SR.
World War II veteran
Richard Leo Costilow Sr., 89, died July 16, 2010.
Mr. Costilow was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 70 years. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and worked as a terminal manager for a few trucking companies before retiring from Penn Transfer. He loved to gamble, fish and bowl, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law Rose and Robert Kleckner; he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucille; sons Richard Costilow Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls and Carmine (Rebecca) Costilow of Stow; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
