MARGARET BRUSTOSKI

Worked at several Akron sites

Margaret Brustoski, 88, died on July 5, 2010, after a brief bout with cancer.

Born in Copley, she graduated from Akron's South High, worked at Children's Hospital, Firestone Tire and Rubber, and retired from the Chapel Hill M. O'Neil Co. She enjoyed volunteering over the years, most recently at Feed My Sheep at Redeemer United Methodist Church in Akron, and working the voting booths in Cuyahoga Falls.

She was preceded in death by husband, Stephen; parents John and Julia Juhas; brothers, Louis, Julius, Bill, Pete, and Elmer Juhas; sister, Helen Juhas; half-brothers, Joe Labady, Dave Labady and John Juhas. She is survived by sisters Julia Kraus Phelps and Irene Mann; daughter Patty (Joe) Konkiel, and son Stephen (Sharon) Brustoski. She is also survived by grandchildren Laura (Joe) Spangler, Steve Konkiel, Mike Brustoski and Kristin Brustoski, and great-grandsons Ivan and Ian Spangler, and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service took place at Ciriello and Carr Chapel in Cuyahoga Falls, Pastor Debbie Gibbons officiating. Internment took place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redeemer United Methodist at 959 Dayton St., Akron 44310.

Ciriello and Carr Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
