Deacon, Richardson exchange vows

MR. AND MRS. DAVID B. RICHARDSON

(Bethany S. Deacon)

Bethany S. Deacon, of Kent, Ohio and David B. Richardson, of Cuyahoga Falls, were married April 10 at Woodlawn Methodist Church in Akron. The bride is the daughter of Barbara Schonfeld and Harry Deacon, both of Kent. The bridegroom is the son of Alan and Carol Aufrance Richardson IV of Cuyahoga Falls. The bridegroom's father officiated the double-ring ceremony and the bride's father escorted her down the aisle to the music "Joy." The matron of honor was Jennifer Thompson Moke and the best man was Alan Richardson V, the bridegroom's brother, both of Akron. The ring bearers were the bridegroom's nephews Bennett and Solomon Richardson. Honored guests included the bride and bridegroom's maternal grandmothers, Sara Lengs Beach and Lola Aufrance, and the bridegroom's paternal grandfather Arthur Richardson. Soloist and pianist at the ceremony were Laura Kristolic and Aaron Wise, both longtime friends of the bridegroom. Readings were done by Megan (Alan) Richardson, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Robert Lengs, uncle of the bride. Ushers were the bride's stepfather, Gus Shonfeld, and Corey Moke, friend of the couple. A spring-nature-theme reception followed the ceremony at Coventry Pavilion at Akron Metro Park. Following a weeklong honeymoon in Tampa, Fla., the couple make their home in Stow. Both the bride and bridegroom are employed by the Heinens Corp. of Cleveland.
